BS 15000 to ISO/IEC 20000 What difference does it make?

Jenny Dugmore

Director of service matters

ISO/IEC 20000 is the first international standard for service management and will probably be seen as one of the most significant milestones in the development of the industry. It is all the more significant as it took less than 14 months from the 'fast-track' submission of BS 15000 to become ISO/IEC 20000. This highlights the importance placed upon an international standard for service management.
